I have been stuck with a Comcast DVR for years now, because I was unwilling to give up on demand movies and shows etc. But now with Tivo HD it looks like it may be worth having BOTH Tivo HD and the DVR. But unless I can share the recordings with my Macs on the network (Tivo to go? Or is it just Tivo Desktop sharing) I am not sure it is worth the money yet. I think I read in the New York times that there is some prospect of the Tivo HD having a connection to the software again as the Series 2 does? Anyone know the straight scoop on this? I will be forever thankful, and may buy a Tivo HD for $449 at Weakknees as a result!
