I have a Series 2 TCD540080 that controls a DishNetwork Brand 301 receiver. It uses IR controller and works correctly about 99.9% of the time. I have gone through the recommended channel changing set up about 10 times and the advanced set up about 30+ times. I have tried so many different IR codes and A,B,C of each code, and each time I think I have found a code that works, it will work for a long time as long as 2 months then it will record the wrong channel, some times as soon as a week. I have another Series 2 that controls a DishNetwork 3900 that has not recorded the wrong channel ever in about 5 years. I have both IR transmitter and eyes on units covered with foil to help keep all IR signal on eyes. Any Ideas?
