Black Screen

HELP!! I've had my Series 2 HuMax TiVo for two years with no problems. But now, when I try to record, the TiVo thinks it recorded the program but all I have is a black screen when I view it. I also get a black screen when I try to watch T.V. through the TiVo. I am still able to watch programs that were previously recorded. I have Comcast as my cable company. I have tried to reboot several times and have checked the cable connections. HELP--bbjeanne

You should probably redo Guided Setup and see if you can see video during the process. If not, try a different cable connection from your cable box to your TiVo (three options: S-video, composite, and RF/coax).
