connection question

Hello,

Can I put a splitter of some sort inbetween my Tivo and TV to manually switch to a TV in the next room. I was thinking that I could get one of the remote sensors for the remote control to operate from the other room. Has anyone tried this? any suggestions?

That'll work, assuming it's SD. In HD, things are a bit trickier if you are using a digital connection, but still doable.

Does your Tivo have 2 set of outputs? As long as you are running a long cord anyway for the splitter, why not just get a 3 RCA hookup cable, and run from a 2nd output on the Tivo to the TV in the other room? The Remote extenders will work too. I use the RCA brand cones.
