can i record two programs at once without having two of each channel on my guide

I just bought a dual tuner tivo. I have a digital cable box and standard cable.
I can't figure out how to record something and watch something different without having each channel on my guide twice, one from each input. Is there anything i can do.

You should try re-doing Guided Setup. We haven't seen that behavior.
