I have 2 Series 2 40040 TiVo boxes, and one lifetime service registration (for the bedroom machine).
The bedroom machine's hard drive was failing (freezing up for 5 seconds or so at a time), so I bought the 80G kit from Weaknees. I wanted the extra capacity (80G vs. 40G) for the living room, so I put the new drive in the living room box and used its old, working, 40G drive to replace the failing drive in my bedroom box.
The new drive installed fine in the livingroom. But for the bedroom machine, after removing the old bad drive and putting in what had been the okay living room drive, I get error #51 on the bedroom box, even after several re-boots.
