I'd like to confirm that I think that I've come to understand from the postings here. I have a DSR6000R01 that I had added a 120g drive a few years ago. The unit is failing due to a burnt resister or capacitor on the MB. I purchased a Hughs SD-DSR40 and will get it soon in addition to another 300g drive.

Is there anyway to transfer the saved content from my old series 1 to this new series 2.. I understand that they use different OS's and such but I'm not clear if it is possible to move the content over or not.

Seems from the posts that I've gone thru that it is not but I've not come across any post that are specific to this so far.
