After receiving the Spring 2007 software update on my Series 2 Tivo it has been stuck in a continuous reboot cycle.
I've contacted Tivo support and they have told me that they've had some boxes "flip out" after receiving the new software update. They very clearly said that this was a software issue.
They offered to exchange my Tivo box for a different one, but once they found out I upgraded the capacity with a second drive they told me there was nothing they could do to help me. They've said my only option is to purchase a new Tivo box and that there is no way that I can transfer my current lifetime service to a new box.
Does anyone have any ideas/thoughts about how I can get my existing Tivo box up and running again???
