I have a TIVO BOLT VOX 500GB unit. Recently the unit dropped its pairing with the remote. While in RF mode I can use the VOX button and it will do what I ask. But all other buttons will not affect the TIVO. The only fix I found was to set the controller to us IR only. I purchased a new remote, mainly to see if new remote would pair. OH, and yes I replaced batteries. I'm not sure if I might have an RF antenna issue, or maybe something more serious happening. Anyone run into this issue, and may have solution for it?

Yup, global, tivo button+back, tivo+live, 221 code, etc. Spoke with tivo support, they just had me set to IR mode.Comment

I can't say I've seen it before, but it sounds like the antenna in your TiVo is failing, if both remotes produce the same behavior.Been here a long time . . .Comment
