okay, uh. this is wierd, if you install a tivo image on the hd, will it show up in linux gparted or something? when I put a tivo image on the drive, gparted says its empty, and tivo still doesnt boot. I can format it in windows and be able to use it in windows. but tivo cant see it, even jmfs bootable cd cant see the drive when a tivo image is written by the dvrbars1007 util.. help! I dont know what to do anymore..

My guess is that a properly formatted drive with the right TiVo OS on it will fix the unit.Been here a long time . . .Comment
