I have a Tivo Premiere XL4 (Tcd758250) with Lifetime. My situation is almost the same as this members post: http://www.wkforums.com/forums/showt...lates-on-cable
Everything this member tried, I did as well. Still have pixelation, blocky picture and choppy audio.
Replacing the capacitors solved his problem. However, when inspecting the power supply in my unit, all the capacitors seem to be in good condition - there is no bulging or discoloration in any of them. Also saw the comment that you can still have a bad power supply even though the capacitors look fine.
So my question is, what is the best route to take? Should I order a new power supply? Only replace the capacitors? Is there anything else that I can try?
