I have a series 3 HD that keeps freezing. When I turn on the tv in the morning I find the screen frozen. The red light is lit on the front. The only way to unfreeze it is to unplug the unit. I replaced the power supply in may 2016 and replaced the hard drive in November 2016. I used the kickstart to run SMART diagnostics and the hard drive passed all the tests. Any ideas what it could be??

You should really run the overnight tests on the hard drive. The other tests are very cursory.Been here a long time . . . -

Is the unit plugged directly into the wall, or into a power strip or splitter? Try plugging it directly into the wall.Been here a long time . . .Comment

That seems to have helped the freezing issue, but now it randomly shuts down and restarts while watching live tv.Comment

Is it a TCD652160 or TCD658000?
If so, it likely needs a motherboard repair here.Been here a long time . . .Comment
