Swapping hardware

I just lost my HD TIVO 3 tuner after 9 years and have purchased a Premiere 4. I have a good 1TB TIVO 3 hard drive which I may have to use at some time. Will the old TIVO 3 software run on the TIVO Premiere 4 unit? Or do I need to upload new software? Or do I need to send the 1 TB drive back to Weakness to be re-loaded with the latest software?

You'd need to send it to us to get the right OS on it.

I have a similar question. I'm looking to get a new Bolt+ to replace my Premiere XL4. I'd be purchasing the Bolt from Weaknees. Can you guys transfer the Wish Lists, Season Passes & existing recorded programs from the XL4 to the Bolt? If so, would I just remove the drive from the XL4 and send that to you, or would you need the whole box?

Nope. Sorry. We generally can't transfer any info from one unit to another. The transfer we're able to perform are from one drive to another for the same unit.
