Tivo files on Windows 7 computer

I have transferred many Tivo files to a computer, but they are much more difficult to play back and fast forward, using a computer keyboard. Is there any type of computer remote control that would give me a Tivo-like experience, including fast forward?
As an alternative, would there be any way to play these back on the Tivo, without converting, or transferring back to the Tivo?

I don't know of any good TiVo remote for a computer - or any at all.

There was once an app called "TiVoGoBack" that would move files back to a TiVo, but I don't think it's still available.

Been here a long time . . .
