So a series 3 TIVO I have with lifetime service is acting up again. It's connected via ethernet to my router. It connects to the TIVO service to download guide information, but it never seems to 'take'; after several hours of loading the guide information it has downloaded, it insists that it is out of guide information. I tried clearing the guide and to do list and reload but after a couple hours of loading, nothing happens.
Is this a failing hard drive? I haven't seen any of the other symptoms of a failing hard drive, and the only thing that resembles this problem on weaknees is a modem problem, which I'm not using at all. halp!
