Series 2 and HD antenna

I've been trying to find my way through different posts but wish to confirm.

I have a series 2 TIVO w/ lifetime service and I want to cord cut and just go w/ an HDTV antenna. Am I understanding that I need some sort of converter box because Series 2 doesn't support antennas? Is there a recommended one? TIA

Yes, you need a converter box, but I'm not even sure they're available at this point.

You might consider a Series3 unit with lifetime:

These can read antenna signals directly.
