During thunder storm and near by lightning house lights were flashing. Now TV only shows black screen from Tivo. Tivo displays green light, flashing yellow light after unplugging power and red light showing it is recording scheduled events. How to fix?

Sounds like a bad HDMI port. Which model of Roamio is it? If it's a Plus or Pro, try component or composite video out.
If it's a base or an OTA, you'll need this cable:

for composite, and there's no way to get component.Been here a long time . . . -
My Tivo Roamio Series 5 HD has AV out connector that I assume your cable would use. This was my 2nd Tivo. I now have a Tivo Bolt on order.

Right - that cable connects to the AV out. Same cable works in the Bolt.Been here a long time . . .Comment
