Two identical T3s
Tried two different attenuation filters on first T3: no luck.
Second (other) T3 works a-okay with no added attenuation filter, using same coax.
Neither T3 uses cable cards, btw...and both worked fine until recently via straight-in coax connection into "cable-in."
Unfortunately the one that is searching for signal has lifetime activation.
Bad tuner?
Any way to fix?
I don't suppose I could switch cable coax to "Antenna-in" and rescan channels to see if other tuner will cooperate?
Thanks!
- One has gray screen (searching for signal) 100% of time, but otherwise appears ok (it boots fine, shows an up-to-date guide, it thinks it's recording, etc. but no ability to tune to any channels). All channels show "searching for signal" gray.
- The second (identical) T3 works perfectly when connected to the very same cable-in coax.
