Ok, so I have a Humax Series 2 with a DVD Burner. Old model with lifetime service, I cannot afford a newer model and just don't want to give up the lifetime service even though this DVR is considered so basic.

I was mounting it on a shelf below a flat screen mount (it came with the mount kit) and it slipped off and fell (with all cable and TV connection cords attached) all of 2 feet "softly" because the cords broke the fall. However, when I tightened up the shelf (it tilted because it wasn't tight enough, hence the fall) organized all of the cords...the Tivo rebooted and the picture or color of the picture was changed. For example the Guide menu that is typically blue is now Seafoam Green. The regular viewing picture is "off" as well. When I view netflix through my Vizio Smart TV the color and Picture are all true to color as normal.

Is there a quick fix to this problem or is it the Flat Fee Fix necessary? I am not opposed to the FFF, but if I can fix it as easy as I changed out the venting fan I would prefer that. Then I can concentrate on replacing the DVD burner and upgrading memory. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
