I have a TiVo Premiere XL Series4 - TCD748000 that stopped receiving Cable signal. Comcast checked their end and they think it's my TiVo. I measured my TiVo RF input impedance on both the CABLE jack and the ANTENNA jack thinking that they should be the same but they are not. What should they be? On CABLE, I get 160k Ohms and on ANTENNA I get > 10M Ohms (open). I get the same measurement with the TiVo ON or OFF. I do receive around 10 OTA channels on the ANTENNA jack but nothing on CABLE. Also, there is a little 3-lead SOT-23 chip right next to the Jacks that receives the signals but I don't know what part it is to replace it. The chips measure differently between CABLE and ANTENNA so I suspect that's a problem.
