Even with the new Weaknees power supply and hard drive installed, I still have a rebooting issue on my Tivo Series 3 (tcd652160). I have tried booting with the Fios Cable cards in and out of the unit. Out of curiosity, I reinstalled the old HDD (Fail 7 on one of the Kickstarts) with the new power supply and on occasion it will start up, access stored programs, and show live TV for about 5 minutes before going back into the boot sequence. Short of installing a motherboard, I don't know what-else it could be. Do I buy a motherboard if available, or with an 7 year old unit buy a whole new system and lose the $500 spent back in the day for lifetime Tivo subscription. I am $300 in parts and it still reboots constantly. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think you have the problem described here:
TiVo Rebooting problem
We can fix this; it's a motherboard problem with the TiVo. Unfortunately, I think your motherboard might not be the only issue if you also have a fail7 on your hard drive.
