I've been keeping my Series 2 with lifetime alive since 2004, but this one has me stumped. I have three Tivo remotes, they all function with the TV but not the Tivo. The Tivo always responds when the IR blaster sends a channel change for a programmed show, but refuses to recognize the remote signals. Global reset on the remotes, nada. Unplug Tivo, waiting and restarting, no result. Another mysterious symptom is that the Tivo will sometimes gradually go backward into the buffer until it is a half hour behind the present time. This happens with no visual cues on the TV. Too many remotes for that to be the problem. Since the IR blaster works, it can't be the IR receiver. As far as melon scratchers go, this one's a honeydoodle. I'm open to suggestions. Thanks.
