Controlling Tv with Tivo remote
I have just received my new replacement remote (series 3) from weaknees and was most impressed with the fast service.I have a Panasonic TH-P42X10Z tv but cannot find a code from the supplied Tivo codes to work. Unfortunately I never thought to make a note of the code I used with my first remote.I am in New Zealand would this have anything to do with the problem or are the remotes for worldwide use.Is there anyway to read a code from the old remote which still functions (just)

Unfortunately, we don't have a code list.
There was one on TiVo's site once, but they've updated their support area and they seem to have deleted lots of information. I tried digging there but couldn't find anything. You can find ghost links to it in Google, but not the info, I'm afraid.
Often, the same codes are baked into remotes from several vendors, so you could try the codes from this list, for example:
