I swapped a brand new 1TB Weaknees HDD into a refreshed HD Series 2 (TCD 652160 HD) and in order to get the two pieces of hardware to recognize each other, was advised to do a full "Clear and Delete Everything". That was accomplished (took 2-3 hours).
My new combo has been in power up mode now for 18 hours. Not sure if the TiVo hardware is having to format the new HDD to it's liking, or if I am simply dealing with a hung start (ala Bill Gates' software) and I should simply unplug, wait 30 seconds and replug/reboot. Any ideas?
Read somewhere here about playing with motherboard jumpers - no problem in cracking TiVo open and doing that if that will resolve.
Thanks!

UPDATE: I kept reading and found out about the Kick Start 57 ... Executed that and apparently my file system had become corrupted. The Kick Start 57 resolved the issue and I'm happy to report this issue CLOSED!
