I get a v52 code no digital signal detected with a blank screen.OPTIMUM cable has checked all wiring,cable cards insertions,etc. and said their signal is coming in to the house and the issue is the tiro box.TIVO can't help diagnose the issue and wants to sell me a replacement.i'M LOST.

Brand new unit? If not, what changed - did you move or get a new card?

It started one day with the picture breaking up slowly at first and within a day or two the entire picture was gone.I have another tv in the house that gets the signal thru a hd cable box and there is no problem with the reception.We can watch shows recorded prior to this with no issue. Since the v52 started there has been no recordings of season pass shows.The TIVO box is emiting a high pitched buzzing sound.
A few days before this problem began we experienced a electric power surge of some type in the house that that blinked all the lights,interrupted the cable tv service toComment

I think you might have a hard drive failure on your hands.

I ran the kickstart 54 SMART test and got TEST PASSED.Initial,Short,Conveyance, and extended all passed.Off line scan said Done.
I rebooted TIVO and still have v52 on the tv.Comment

Then, sorry to say, I think this is a motherboard issue that we cannot fix.Been here a long time . . .Comment
