Hello,
I have two identical Tivo HDs (TCD652160) with lifetime, each using a cable card. One of them began having serious problems: pixilization and then blinking green light, and endless rebooting. I tried kickstart diagnostics, and got error messages.
So... I replaced the factory HD with a brand new WD green 1 TB.
However, after rebooting, the pixilization is still there on live HD (not so much on SD channels), but NOT on prerecorded shows or on menu. I tried swapping cable outlets, HDMI, cable cards, and power cables, but situation persists. Now it looks like the Tivo is back in its reboot cycle and is hung up at the “Welcome” screen.
So, I am assuming it's either power supply or logic board. Is there any way to determine which? Help!
