I have a tivo series 2 with an 80gb hard drive, I have a few questions:
1. I bought a 1tb expansion drive about two years ago and it is starting to fail, can I still use the tivo with the original drive alone?
2. Is there a way to still save all of my programming on the drive that is failing?
3. Why is it that the newer drive is starting to fail prior to the old drive?
4. Is there a "warranty" on the drives sold by weaknees, if so, how long is it?
5. When I ran (on the failing drive) the quick test from Western Digital it passed, when running the extended test it failed I believe like 19 nodes or something along those lines, would clicking on fix it repair the hard drive and delete all of my shows, or just some or none at all?
6. Also shortly after I installed the 1tb drive my programming went down to about a week in to the future, is this normal?
