The drive in my TiVo was failing, I ran mfs live to get the image off of the old drive, which showed a bunch of i/o errors. I installed what was loaded from the old drive onto a new one and installed it in the TiVo. The first time it came up with the GSOD, but then it appeared to be working fine, until I went into some of the menus.

Occasionally I hit a dead-end and causes the TiVo to reboot. I'm guessing this is because of the image that I got off of my old drive, since some of it couldn't be recovered.

Is there any way to get a good Series 3 image? Or does anybody have other suggestions to get a full, complete image on the drive?
