Question: how to safely power down a Tivo HD

I've followed the advice at http://www.weaknees.com/protect.php and http://www.wkblog.com/tivo/2006/01/n...ur-tivo-a-ups/ and am using a UPS with my Tivo HD. What's the best thing to do if there's an extended power failure? I guess my question in general is: what's the safest way to power down a Tivo HD and prevent damage?

You can just power off the UPS at that point, and it will cleanly cut power to the TiVo.
