Series 3 with Almost There reboot loop problem

I have the the "Almost there" reboot loop problem (orange & black screen) described here: http://www.weaknees.com/series-3-tiv...-tcd648250.php.

I am trying to figure out whether I can rule out a power supply problem. I did get into the Kickstart codes and am running the SMART diagnostic. It has been running now for over 2 hours.

Can I safely conclude that the power supply is fine? I am assuming that the HDD will show some sort of error when the test is done.
