  • HDVR2 on SWiM?

I have a SWiM system for my Genie and HD HR20 receivers:
I have an older HDVR2 - can this be connected to the SWiM?
If so, what do I need to do?
Right now if I just connect the co-ax cables (that currently come from the SWiM - no DECA) it won't get through the satellite set-up, whether I do single cable input or dual.
I'm only looking to test its functionality, not to retain as part of my current set-up.
    Appreciate any guidance.

    post script:
I believe I have the answer, which is to connect the HDVR2 directly to the Legacy ports of the SWM

Right - legacy ports of your SWM8 or SWM16 would do the trick. That's the only way.

If you have a SWM-LNB, then you cannot connect any non-SWM devices.
    Been here a long time . . .
