Hi Everyone,
My TiVo HD XL was having issues restarting on it's own and making really crazy loud sounds. I replaced the hard drive with an upgraded 2gb drive. Everything seemed to work fine, went through the set up and started using my TiVo. About 5 hours later it restarted and started to make the loud sound again, I thought the sound must be the fan and swapped that out. Now, I get stuck no on the Welcome to TiVo screen and nothing happens. Any idea of what it may be before I go out and buy a new unit (I have the lifetime subscription on this unit so I'd rather not do that). Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
