I have a Humax Series2 unit that will not recognize the blank disc for transferring saved programming to DVD. When I go thru the steps to save programming to disc, when I get to "insert disc" the machine shows LOADING, then after a couple of minutes shows NO DISC. I have tried inserting a cleaning disc, but the machine does not recognize it nor does it recognize pre-recorded videos.

I need a quick solution to my problem as I'm a teacher and have programming I need to put on disc quickly as my classes begin in just three weeks. Thanks for any info anyone might offer.

PS: I am using the correct disc format of DVD-R, so that's not my trouble.
