Hello all, I am encountering an issue with my Tivo 2 series.. My HDD recently went out (or so I assume).. my Tivo would not get past the initial setup screen and would lock up and freeze.. I pulled an identical HDD out of another Tivo 2 series I had lying around, and switched them. I then got error #51, which was easily resolved by going into the Tivo's setting and wiping it clean. After about 45 minutes, all was well. I had gotten through the initial setup, connected it to my wireless network, and had just began to record some shows when suddenly.. my Tivo locked up and is now doing the same thing, not getting past that initial startup screen.. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Simply purchasing a new Tivo is obviously out of the question, as I have already purchased my lifetime Tivo service.
