2007 series 3 tivo, worked fine till last week, now comes up to welcome screen for about 60 seconds then blank screen with "no signal" message?? recommendations? replace /upgrade hardfile?

The symptoms do not indicate an obvious problem; it could be drive, power supply, motherboard. I'd suggest you consider sending it in:
