    I have a DirecTV DVR (HR21-700) and two R-10's.. do I still need to keep my account active with Tivo.com?

    As I understand it, the guide info, etc. is provided for these units by DirecTV, not Tivo. I was keeping the subscription active for my old Series 1, in case I needed it. I don't think I'll ever be using it again, so now my question.

    Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Nope. You get all of your service through DIRECTV on the R10, so you don't need a TiVo.com account at all. In fact, that TiVo.com account you have has no idea that you also have an R10.
