    IR Extender

    My Tivo Series 3 is in the entertainment center on the main floor i built a Workout room with TV in the basement I want to run my Tivo on that TV I have a radio shack Ir Extender and 2 Head IR Blaster but i can't get this to work right

    right now it does nothing, once or twice i got it to work like i hit to forward button but i could not stop it Play again

    Any Ideas?

    I really don't know - we have an RF extender that works very well, but even ours can have problems through thick walls and floors.

      it's less than 25 feet that's the HDMI cable i had to use but the floor are thick

      I want to control my Tivo and a Sat Box that's it i have been looking into a RF Extender but you say that you have problems with it makes me wonder

        The one we carry is the best we have been able to find. It's really excellent technology--far better than IR repeaters.

          Are you talking about the RF Remote Converter, is that for Tivo Only or can i run a Tivo and a FTA Box

            It can support multiple devices, as long as you have a transmitter for each remote. We haven't tested it with everything, but almost all AA or AAA battery remotes do work well.

              ok I bought the TiVo RF Remote Converter and Yes it works perfect with the tivo, and Tivo remote, so if i buy a TiVo RF Transmitter i can install this is my Nfusion HD FTA Receiver remote and it should work? just want to check before i order
              I do have the 2 Head IR Blaster one should be for the tivo installed and the Other FTA Receiver?

                It works with virtually all remotes, so it should work.

                    Well I ordered it got it install it But for the life of me can't make it work Tivo remote works perfect can't get the Nfusion HD remote to work at all

                      You can try calling NextGeneration for support. This may be one of the few remotes that isn't compatible.
