I just purchased a TIVO PREMIER 4 from WEAKNEES last week. I had the service number provided to me by WEAKNEES in advance so that I could ACTIVATE before the promotional ending, 12/31/2012. I did so and I see that TIVO has already billed me for $15.
I called TIVO customer service, twice over a period of 5 days, and both times was told that I need a PROMO code to get the FREE 3 Month's service.
WEAKNEES says NO (via an email).
Is there a Promo code for the promotion regarding the 3 month free service from TIVO as advertised on this site, following the purchase of a Premier DVR? What the heck is it?
TIVO, and WEAKNEES has ME, a customer, in between a dispute over what is, or is not required to get this discount.
TIVO will not apply a discount until I have a code to give them.
