Greetings All.

I have a Sony SVR2000 and it seems to be dialing in, however, none of the program information will load. I get an error of "Failed while loading series".

I contacted TiVo and they tried to tell me the unit was dead and I needed a new one. I think something else is going on. So, I am reaching out to you. Can I save my TiVo? Do I need a new modem and cable? The unit was working about two (2) months ago, I had to disconnect it while I did some house remodeling. Plugged it in, it connected with a test call, but does not download the guide data.
