I have a rather old model DRT800 - The kind of TiVo that is combined with a Humax DVD recorder/player built in. But it still works great and I have a lifetime service package, so don't want to upgrade for obvious reasons. My problem is the disks it plays and records on has to be the slower 1X-2X speed. Anything faster and the disks won't work in it. Well.. stores don't sell those disks anymore. I was using Maxell prior, but I found some SONY 1-2X, 120 min. 4.7 GB DVD-RW that absolutely SHOULD work, but when I put them in my TiVo player/recorder, it says "No disc" and so I can't record any of the Now Playing programs onto the disk. Does anyone out there know WHY.. and does anyone know WHERE I can find some disks that WILL work?
