This is an informational posting. I had a problem with my Series 2 Tivo not being able to change the channels on a Scientific Atlantic cable cox. I even bought a new IR cable (~$6) thinking that would fix it. It didn't. As it turns out, Scientific Atlantic recently (~Sat. May 12, 2012) changed it's access code to 10014-B. So, when I changed that ("Messages & Setting" -> "Setting" -> "Channels" -> "Channel Changing" -> "Ok, access this setting" -> "Yes, I am using the same cable cox." -> "Advance upset" -> IR Code = input 10014 B), it (channel changing) worked!
