Just back from vacation and find my Series 2 TCD649080 stuck on Welcome! Powering up...
Can't get it to go past there, can't get to the yellow light for the kickstart tests, imagine hd is dead?
Problem/questions
I added a hard drive a couple years back so then had two including the original. Guess I hoped for some warning before the original died, no such luck.
1) Any possibility of salvaging shows?
2) Can I purchase another drive and re-use the two year old drive somehow? They are probably "paired"??
I would be happy to take out the drives to test them, have a computer I can run dos or linux programs on.
