I just bought the new "Tivo HD DVR from Directv" (upgraded by weaknees) to replace a 12-year old Hughes DirecTivo. So now I need to upgrade my old 18-inch dish for HD. Who should I call for this: DirecTv, Weaknees, or my local satellite installer?
DIRECTV is where I'd start, unless you want to install your own dish or hire a professional yourself to do the install. If you want to control the installation (and hire your own person), then I'd suggest getting the dish from us. If you don't mind having DIRECTV do it, they will provide the dish.
