I have a Hughes DirecTv SD-DVR40. It worked fairly well most of the time had slight studdering duiring tivo playback sometimes. I just installed a 250GB hard drive from WeaKnees. When I hooked it back up there is no green power light. The fan comes on but thats it. No picture at all. I switched back to the old drive and the same thing no prower light or picture only the fan. So now neither works. I've checked the cables including the white power cable.

Can some one please help? Does thie mean the power supply is bad? Or is it more serious like the mother board? Should I keep the drive and get a bare system from WeaKnees? I really don't know much about this and would really appreciate some help. Thank you for your time.
