TiVo HD no start issue

TiVo HD no start issue

My TiVo HD this morning had no display and was making quite a bit of noise from the fan. I replaced the fan but now the TiVo won't boot-up. It will make it as far as the just a few minutes more screen and then goes to a black screen. It is at this time that most of the lights on the front panel start fashing. Specifically, the flashing lights are:
Green LED
Red LED
Blue LED
Fixed
Native
Hybrid

My guess is that something overheated, but what?

Flashing lights are generally a pretty bad sign, but I'd suggest you start by inspecting the power supply for bad capacitors, see:

Thanks for the help, it turns out that it was nothing more than a bad fan. I replaced the fan, the third for this TiVo, and it's working fine now.
