I've had my Premiere since May and everything worked great until a couple of weeks ago when the box stopped responding to my remote. Typically, I'm just watching a show, tap the remote to go to Tivo Central and nothing happens. Whatever I'm watching continues. At this point none of the buttons on the remote have any effect.
Tried new batteries
Tried a different remote
Tried the "thumbs up, thumbs down, play play" fix
Tried my iPhone app for Tivo
Tried my iPad app for Tivo
The only thing that works is to unplug the Tivo and then go thru the excruciatingly long reboot sequence. This failure happens a couple of times a night now.
Hardware? Software? Is there a fix on the way?
