    TiVo Premiere (Series 4) not tuning anymore

    Hi Folks,

    I have an old but trusty Premiere that has gradually stopped tuning most channels. It now only tunes ABC6 in Philly. I’ve deleted channels and rescanned as well as rebooted the unit. I checked the antenna with my TV tuner, and the TV tunes everything just fine. I wonder if my TiVo is at end of life, or if there’s a part to replace? I wanted to buy a new Edge for Antenna, but it’s out of stock everywhere. Any thoughts, and thanks!

    Sounds like the tuner chip on there has died. I think it's time for a replacement unit.

    We don't have any OTA units on our website, but we should have refurbished models back up in about two weeks on this page:

      Ah, thanks. Edge OTAs are impossible to find. I’d love to get one - and refurbished would be just fine. Maybe send me an email when any are available, if that’s possible.

        We don't have a system for that unfortunately. But we may have some in a few weeks, so just check back on that page.
