Our beloved TiVo was showing just the DirecTV startup logo and was showing no confirmation of command via the lights on the front panel, then hours later no picture just a Dark Gray screen. I disconnected the AC, opened it, disconnected the fan, reconnected the AC and listened for the hard drive, Notta.
I then disconnected the IDE cable and the drive spun right up! Tried it a couple times same result. Currently after reassembling it and powering it back up, I have a perpetual Light Gray screen with the "Powering Up!" verbiage. Any thoughts....
