30-second skip is gone
When I started up TiVo this afternoon, I had a message saying I'd automatically received an update. Now, the 30-second skip is gone and I can't get it back. I'm not sure why the update would delete this feature, but it seems quite the coincidence that it worked before and now it doesn't. Any ideas???

Info to get it back is here. It automatically resets when the TiVo reboots, which is what happens when you get a service update.Been here a long time . . . -

Yes, I know it disappears on reboot and I've followed the instructions to get it back. The instructions don't work - I've done it a dozen times and can't get it to work again.Comment

Are you playing a pre-recorded show? That's the key. Live TV won't do it.Been here a long time . . .Comment

OK - well, all we can suggest is to try it again. It still works here on every unit except the Toshiba SD-H400 (it may work there now, but we haven't tried it recently).Been here a long time . . .Comment
