    I am experiencing problems with my TIVOHD. It loses video signal after just a few minutes after each reboot. Eventually goes to a gray screen and will not respond to remote. It will reboot most of the time, but soon goes off again.
    I suspect the hard drive and am looking to replacement.
    I have a unique situation. I purchased the unit at a thrift store about 6 months ago and it had TIVO service. It says in the account information that it the account is in good standing. I have been enjoying free TIVO and wonder if I replace the hard drive will I lose it.

    No, your service is not lost if you swap a hard drive.
